KURT SPILLMANN WINS AGAIN - CAGE WARS

Grandmaster Spillmann’s youngest son Kurt has competed for years in traditional martial arts tournaments. He is fourth-degree black belt and a gold medalist in both Taekwondo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and on June 10th, Spillmann won at Cage Wars MMA in California.

Spillmann, a native of Gallatin, dominated the fight with head kicks body strikes. Spillmann was not struck once, ending the match in under a minute by forcing his opponent to tap out with a rear-naked choke.

The GMA academy is known for developing top students with academic excellence and strong defensive and fighting abilities. GMA students have multitudes of wins in Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA.

GMA’s master-level instructors are internationally certified in multiple martial arts. Grandmaster Professor Spillmann is an eighth-degree black belt, who holds rankings in several martial arts and has been teaching in the United States and abroad for almost 40 years.
