GMA Martial Arts Center Master Instructor Kurt Spillmann who is a 4th Dan black Belt in ITF, Kukkiwon TaeKwondo and a Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, (under his father GM Spillmann) competed again this weekend in California Cage Wars and devastated his opponent with a TKO in under 20 seconds.
The fight started as Kurt Spillmann side-kicked his opponent and a boxing bout began. Kurt landed several punches causing his opponent to try to clinch. That is when Kurt Spillmann reversed it, landing his opponent on his back. Master Kurt Spillmann then landed 9 more punches ending the fight by TKO in under 20 seconds. His current record is undefeated and all fights have ended in under 40 seconds. This demonstrates the power of BJJ / MMA taught at GMA and the other martial arts taught at GMA Martial Arts in Gallatin TN.
Master Kurt Spillmann trains at GMA Martial Arts in Gallatin, TN with his family and when fighting in California he works out at Fight Syndicate a friendship school. Master Instructor Kurt Spillmann started practicing martial arts at the age of three with his father Grandmaster Spillmann, an 8th Dan Black Belt.and Black Belt under Rocian Gracie Jr.
Master Kurt Spillmann has been training and competing for over 24 years. He also trains with his brothers at the Gallatin Academy.
Master Instructor Kurt Spillmann is a complete fighter and has won dozens of competitions in TaeKwonDo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu; he also graduated MTSU with a degree in business and is a complete martial artist.
